摘要: To determine why elements of central pattern generators phase lock in a particular under some conditions but not others, we tested theoretical prediction method. The method is based on the tabulated open loop pulsatile interactions bursting neurons cycle-by-cycle basis and was closed hybrid circuits composed one biological neuron model coupled using dynamic clamp. A total 164 networks were formed by varying synaptic conductances. 1:1 locking agreed qualitatively with experimental observations, except three which predicted observed. Correct predictions sometimes required consideration second order resetting, measures change timing burst after perturbation. robust to offsets between initiation presynaptic activation coupling postsynaptic neuron. quantitative accuracy fell within variability (10%) experimentally observed intrinsic period resetting curve (PRC), despite changes duration conditions.
