摘要: An experiment was conducted for detecting genetic variability in oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) clone, Tornado, using SSRs or microsatellites, during 2007–09, at the Directorate of Oil Palm Research, Pedavegi, Andhra Pradesh. Tissue cultured clones were imported from ASD Costa Rica first time to India and planted farmers’ fields 2006 by a private firm. Morphological variations studied when plantations three years old. Twenty-four plants selected random batch 200 plants. The DNA extracted spear leaves 10ng each sample amplified SSR primers. 20 primers used designed reported microsatellite sites. products separated on 15% acrylamide gel. Seven showed monomorphic bands. number alleles per locus ranged one allele 204 four 230. In order illustrate diversity among accessions, dendrogram obtained similarity matrix minimum evolution method. clustered accessions according their similarities calculated as proportion shared alleles. All palms fell into distinct clusters, which indicates that these might have least different origins. Based results six primers, viz. 48, 119, 138, 176, 215 226 potential can detect variation clones.
