摘要: Abstract In the domestic sector, increased energy consumption of home appliances has become a growing issue. Thus, reducing and scheduling usage is key for any management system (HEMS). To better match demand supply, many utilities offer residential response program to change pattern power customer by curtailing or shifting their use during peak time period. present study, real optimal schedule controller HEMS proposed using new binary backtracking search algorithm (BBSA) manage consumption. The BBSA gives devices in order limit total load operation at specific times day. Hardware prototype smart sockets graphical user interface software were designed demonstrate provide between loads scheduler, respectively. A set most common appliances, namely, air conditioner, water heater, refrigerator, washing machine been considered be controlled. applied under two cases which first case considers weekday from 4 11 pm second weekend different Experimental results are compared with particle swarm optimization (BPSO) verify accuracy developed HEMS. provides that BPSO electricity bill save hours certain loads.
