摘要: The purpose of this study was to reveal the diagnostic accuracy initial pathologic assessment biopsied samples in patients with gastrointestinal follicular lymphoma lesions. A total 48 (Lugano system stage I: n = 30; II1: 4; II2: IV: 10) involvement who underwent endoscopic biopsy were enrolled and retrospectively reviewed. Nine (18.8%) not appropriately diagnosed as having at biopsy. pathological diagnosis included extranodal marginal zone mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (n 4), necrotic 2), duodenitis 1), or suspected unspecified subtype 2). reasons for these inappropriate diagnoses insufficient histopathologic analysis lacking CD10 BCL2 staining 7) unsuitable taken from erosions ulcers that contained scanty cells no follicles In conclusion, incomplete are pitfalls lymphoma.
