摘要: Abstract Seven glycopeptide fractions, representing five different glycopeptides, were isolated from a γM-immunoglobulin obtained patient with Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia. Two of the glycopeptides contained only mannose and N-acetylglucosamine residues in molar ratio 7:2, while other three sialic acid, galactose, mannose, N-acetylglucosamine, fucose 1:2:3 to 4:4 4.5:0.5. The structure oligosaccharide portion four was investigated as follows. Sequential enzymatic degradation chains purified glycosidases helped determine sequences sugars. linkages between sugars established by serial periodate oxidation methylation followed identification alditol acetate derivatives methylated gas chromatography mass spectrometry. data demonstrated existence microheterogeneity one units which contains residues. Microheterogeneity also shown occur outer branches more complex lacked full complement acid residue. Partial structures are proposed for glycopeptides.
