摘要: The invertebrate fauna associated with colonies of the bryozoan Schizoporella errata was studied at two sites differing in hydrodynamism southeastern Brazil. Patterns species distribution, abundance, and diversity were similar both sites. Polychaetes dominated assemblages, number individuals species, 70 distributed 20 families. Decapod crustaceans also abundant, mainly anomuran crabs caridean shrimps. Cluster analysis separated samples from each site, further indicated that an interaction between water movement trophic structure could explain these differences. At site low movement, more muddy sediments found inside colonies, a greater proportion deposit-feeders found. other higher resulted less within favoured occurrence filter-feeders. faunal assemblages can help understand biogenic substrata, as already demonstrated for benthic communities.
