摘要: Severe lung disease is known to affect the lives of not only sufferer but also his/her family. This qualitative phenomenological study identified seven patients with severe and studied quality life their carers (five female, two male) who were fully employed, living in same house or nearby. In a semistructured interview, asked about looking after spouse relative, whether they had support effect caring on health finances. The findings showed carers' be severely restricted, all carrying heavy emotional burden frustration, depression isolation: part-time jobs important both financially reduce isolation. Family was vital coping, few received professional help. All affected by reduction income, claiming allowances confusing; unpredictability complicated much-needed recreation holidays. Findings similar previously published data.
