摘要: AbstractGalactose and Mannose residues were tagged on the surface of n-glutaryl-phosphatidyl-ethanolamine (NGPE) containing liposomes with without polyethylene glycol molecular weight 2000 Da conjugated to distearoyl phosphatidylethanolamine (PEG-2000-DSPE). Biodistribution studies showed that sugar bearing cleared more rapidly from circulation than those not moieties. However, rate clearance glycosylated conventional was much faster sterically stabilized liposomes. Intrahepatic distribution a substantial amount taken up by both parenchymal (P) (40%) non-parenchymal (NP) cells (60%). incorporation PEG-2000-DSPE shifted this uptake slightly in favour (47%).
