摘要: Abstract In agricultural landscapes, patches of natural or semi-natural habitat are crucial for the survival plant and animal populations, which in turn essential to maintain ecosystem functioning. Species composition diversity trees birds among woody islands were compared a Colombian rangeland assess how characteristics influence bird community composition, species traits their potential services. Bird tree was higher gallery forest fragments hedgerows isolated within rangelands. Forest shared over 50% with hedgerows, yet communities differed markedly. Tree had relatively more endozoochorous small-seeded hosted forest, savanna shrubland, while synzoochorous large-seeded primarily birds. Hedges contribute conservation biodiversity rangeland, but forests less tolerant species. The acts as an ecological filter between hedges islands, facilitate spillover functions, including seed dispersal, into thus support regional restoration.
