Its clinical picture presents as an erythema buttocks and upper inner thighs resembling red bottom baboons. This reaction originally observed with mercury, nickel, ampicillin. In 2004, some authors proposed acronym SDRIFE standing for 'symmetric drug-related intertriginous flexural exanthema' specifically cases elicited systemically administered drugs. Since 1984, about 100 have been reported literature; most concerned drugs, previous skin sensitization possible cross-sensitization has not shown. We report first case due rivastigmine, exception erythematous maculopapular eruption rivastigmine reported. Rivastigmine is reversible noncompetitive acetylcholinesterase inhibitor used treatment Alzheimer disease. important condition keep mind order avoid misdiagnosis when dealing other exanthematous disorders prevent re-exposure responsible future.
