摘要: The relationship between the rate of 111In-platelet deposition on vascular grafts and subsequent thrombosis has been examined in patients undergoing femoropopliteal by-pass. Sixty-seven by-pass using vein, Dacron or PTFE were randomized to aspirin plus dipyridamole (ASA/DPM) placebo. Autologous 111In-platelets injected second postoperative week Thrombogenicity Index (TI) calculated as mean daily rise ratio radioactivity graft/contralateral thigh. Graft patency was assessed 1 year. Mean (+s.e.m.) TI at 21 that occluded within 12 months 0.19 +/- 0.018 compared with 0.07 0.009 38 remained patient (P less than 0.001). Grafts a greater median had 90 per cent 39 cumulative 1-year patency, respectively In prosthetic ASA/DPM reduced from 0.17 0.02 0.11 0.01 0.02) enhanced 36 67 0.05). Following related graft patency. Radiolabelled platelet therefore provides guide how new materials antithrombotic drugs may influence clinical thrombosis. Platelet inhibition both thrombogenicity occlusion.
