摘要: A process is described for preparing halogenated halocyclopentadiene adducts of styrene by reacting a derivative with cyclopentadiene in Diels-Alder reaction, and then halogenating the aromatic ring to contain between 1 5 halogen atoms. The resulting compounds are useful as fire retardant additives various elastomers plastics, especially acrylonitrilebutadiene-styrene (ABS).
