Optimization of multi-stage constant current charging pattern based on Taguchi method for Li-Ion battery

摘要: Abstract Due to the complexity of characteristics, charging performance Li-ion batteries needs be further improved. In this paper, Taguchi method is employed search an optimal pattern for 5-stage constant-current strategy. The capacity, efficiency and time are analyzed as quality functions simultaneously, influences currents at each stage on function revealed. This universal provides a reasonable basis selection currents. By reasonably updating stage, broader range searched make experimental results more representative. Compared with constant current- voltage method, obtained improves by 0.6–0.9%, temperature rise battery reduced about 2 °C. optimizing in paper improved 2.8%, 9.3 °C, capacity basically same.
