摘要: Tissue engineering and cell therapy approaches aim to take advantage of the repopulating ability plasticity multipotent stem cells regenerate lost or diseased tissue. Researchers continue investigate in mature tissues demonstrate potential organ-specific differentiate into multiple lineages. One that displays such promise is muscle-derived (MDSC). Data supporting existence MDSCs have emerged as part investigations improve myoblast transplantation for treatment muscular dystrophies. As these efforts continue, MDSC-based other musculoskeletal injuries, well cardiac smooth muscle currently being explored.
