摘要: Growing evidence reports that obesity might play a role in erectile dysfunction (ED), but limited knowledge is available. We conducted meta-analysis to estimate the prevalence of ED overweight men and with obesity. We performed systematic review up 01/04/2019 investigate associations between ED. Applying random-effect model, we calculated ED, odds ratio (OR) for presence by Body Mass Index (BMI) categories mean differences controls BMI Waist Circumference (WC). Among 3409 studies, included 45 articles 42,489 (mean age = 55 years). Taking normal weight as reference, was significantly higher (OR = 1.31; 95%CI: 1.13–1.51; I2 = 72%) (OR = 1.60; 1.29–1.98; I2 = 79%). Adjusting our analyses potential confounders, results were confirmed (OR = 1.46; 1.24–1.72; I2 = 72%). associated significant values (MD = 0.769; 0.565–0.973 Kg/m2; I2 = 78%) WC (MD = 5.251 cm; 1.295–9.208; I2 = 96%). Considering high among obesity, clinicians should screen this clinical condition population. Findings from present study suggest reducing adiposity crucial approach patients who are affected obesity.
