摘要: Spatial and temporal variations of planktonic copepods were investigated in relation to environmental conditions the Solis Grande estuary (34°22´S, 55°33´W), Uruguay. Over a period fifteen days, samples taken daily at three stations along main axis estuary, species composition abundance determined. The is shallow (2.0 m) with no vertical discontinuities. Comparisons surface versus bottom hydrographic values indicated stratification temperature salinity during studied period. species-environmental relationships explain 63.6% system´s variability considering two first axes from Redundance Analysis (RA). Copepods showed strong differences distribution between successive days. In region winds quickly rotate sectors S-SE (frontal period) E-NE (post-frontal period). Changes significantly related inflow outflow water produced by rotation winds. At smaller space time scales, highlighted RA result wind-forced hydrodynamics after frontal this situation features dominant (factor one RA) wind effects secondary importance RA). Six identified was clearly dominated Acartia tonsa. results negatively correlated groups: integrated Oithona nana, O. simplex, Paracalanus parvus P. crassirostris while second group A. tonsa Euterpina acutifrons . Environmental may be responsible for low diversity.
