摘要: Apnea in the pediatric population is associated with increased morbidity and mortality a large number of developed as well developing countries. It even more prominent preterm newborn infants commonly referred to apnea prematurity. Its current diagnosis therapy involve use traditional technologies, which often result discomfort due invasive devices attached their sensitive skin, especially overnight clinical sleep analysis (for over 12- or 24-h period). Emerging trends for point-of-care this disorder are focused on design integrated less complex noninvasive monitoring. This paper presents review state art technologies methodologies detection pros cons, particular focus working principles relevance pediatrics. Moreover, an in-depth discussion emerging future envisioned be integral parts daily home-based applications included paper.
