摘要: Health insurance programs in developing countries are often intended to allow citizens gain access health care, but according conventional theory, this additional care-moral hazard-is welfare-decreasing. Adopting an alternative perspective that the welfare of care is theoretically indeterminable, we use Brazilian data estimate improvement status associated with supplemental private and model change based on these effectiveness results parameters taken from literature. We find cost a quality-adjusted life year gained through consistent cost-utility ratios likely welfare-increasing.
