Roentgenographic classification of renal cystic disease.

摘要: A new roentgenographic classification of renal cystic disease is presented. The entities are grouped into 4 types depending upon their pyelographic features.In Type I the contrast material can be seen in dilated collecting tubules.In II no functioning tissue present area cyst formation which may involve only a portion kidney. cysts distort outline and system.Type III characterized by intermixed with areas tissue. Pyelography shows distortion system multiple cysts.In IV actual small not demonstrated study, but obstruction lower urinary tract shown cystography.The disorders briefly discussed, correlating findings pathologic anatomy.
