摘要: The capabilities of a Coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy technique that utilizes commercially available microstructured-fibre for the generation Stokes supercontinuum, largely depend on spectral characteristics fibre itself. Such fibres, however, have notoriously limited powers and wavelength coverage, thus limiting excitation efficiency fibre-based CARS. We demonstrate through combination time-gating systematic power-tuning input pulse into supercontinuum-generating fibre—a process we term “spectral surfing”—we are able to extend bolster efficiencies spectral-focusing CARS hypermicroscopy across vibrational spectrum from ~300 cm -1 >3500 .
