摘要: A new primitive whaitsiid therocephalian, Moschowhaitsia vjuschkovi, is described from the Vyaznika deposits (Upper Tatarian, Upper Permian), Vladimir Province, U.S. S. R. distinguished other members of family Whaitsiidae by retention a large number cheek teeth. In its palate the, genus embodies nice combination characteristics ordinarily used to distinguish between whaitslid subfamilies Whaitsiinae and Moschorhininae, therefore assigned subfamily, Moschowhaitsiinae, annectent two previously subfamilies. The well-preserved, acid-prepared skull reveals features unexpected in theriodont otherwise generally aspect.
