摘要: Abstract The rate of carbon formation during the catalytic decomposition benzene vapor over nickel plates was investigated at temperatures from 600 to 970°C. deposition on pure very slow, whereas became fast upon pretreatment surface with air 760°C. Nickel particles 200–300 A in diameter were included within carbon. contents 11, 4, 3, and 2 wt% for carbons deposited 700, 760, 800, 900°C 6 hr, respectively. Direct observations process performed a scanning electron microscope. fibrous observed initial stage activity this including examined hydrogenation reaction cyclohexene. high when nickel-carbon catalyst pretreated hydrogen temperature such as 600°C. This fact suggests that surrounded by carbon, gasified methane treatment temperature.
