Photoinduced Bimolecular Electron Transfer from Cyano Anions in Ionic Liquids

摘要: Ionic liquids with electron-donating anions are used to investigate rates and mechanisms of photoinduced bimolecular electron transfer the photoexcited acceptor 9,10-dicyanoanthracene (9,10-DCNA). The set five cyano anion ILs studied comprises 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium cation paired each these anions: selenocyanate, thiocyanate, dicyanamide, tricyanomethanide, tetracyanoborate. Measurements dilute in acetonitrile bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide show that selenocyanate tricyanomethanide strong quenchers 9,10-DCNA fluorescence, thiocyanate is a moderately quencher, dicyanamide weak no quenching observed for Quenching obtained from both time-resolved fluorescence transients time-integrated spectra.
