摘要: Spherical colloids have been used successfully as condensedmatter model systems for studying fundamental aspects of both phase behavior and dynamic processes such the glass transition. Recently, a growing interest in colloidal particles with more complex shapes interactions is fueled by applications self-assembly advanced functional materials, well demand realistic molecular structures. Examples include rod-like particles, regular clusters, chiral chains, staggered granular polymers, that exhibit inverse dipolar interactions, patchy step-growth polymerization inorganic rodlike nanoparticles. The assembly into polymerlike chains would constitute significant step forward design analogues
