摘要: Microvolunteering is bite-size volunteering with no commitment to repeat and minimum formality, involving short specific actions. Online microvolunteering occurs through an internet-connected device. University students' online decisions were investigated using extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) comprising attitudes normative control perceptions, the additional variables moral norm group norm. Participants (N = 303) completed main TPB questionnaire 1-month follow-up survey (N = 171) assessing engagement in microvolunteering. Results generally supported standard constructs predicting intention. Intention predicted behavior. The findings suggest important role for considerations understanding what influences this increasingly popular form activity.
