摘要: The present paper summarizes the serotyping scheme of fish pathogenic bacterium Vibrio anguillarum and defines seven additional O-serogroups. Strains, collected in our laboratories that were nontypable with antisera against previously defined 16 O-serotypes, used for generating new characterized further by means LPS profiles, Western blots, serological reactions. On basis results, it is suggested O-serogroups are to be included existing system as serotypes O17–O23. However, existence V. strains not typable any 23 O-antisera O-serotypes within this species. relevance description species discussed.
