摘要: Cognitive radios (CR) will be able to communicate adaptively in an effort optimize spectral efficiency. An integral step towards this goal involves obtaining a representative view of the various services operating local area. Although it is possible load different software modules identify each potential service, such approach needlessly inefficient. Instead, rather than use collection complete protocols on CR, we believe that essential have separate identification module capable reliably identifying and devices while minimizing code needed. In particular, by effectively leveraging protocol-specific properties, show utilize data from narrowband sampling order broader band individual devices. We demonstrate feasibility service device using GNU radio universal peripheral (USRP) platform industrial, scientific, medical (ISM) band. Further, physical layer signatures may used devices, thereby allowing CRs exploit information support basic authentication functionality.
