摘要: First principles calculations are performed to study the transport properties of zigzag silicene nanoribbons (ZSiNRs). ZSiNRs show symmetry-dependent similar those graphene nanoribbons, although σ mirror plane is absent. Even-N and odd-N have very different current-voltage relationships, which can be attributed parity their π π* bands under c2 symmetry operation with respect center axis. Moreover, magnetoresistance effect observed in even-N ZSiNRs, order reach 1 000 000%. On basis these interesting properties, ZSiNR-based logic devices, such as not, and, or gates, proposed.
