摘要: Abstract Fatigue crack growth rate are studied through experiments and numerical computations under different biaxial mixed-mode loading conditions. Cruciform specimens compact tension–shear considered. The degrees of mode mixity from pure I to II given by the combinations far-field stress level, load biaxiality inclined angle. For particular specimen geometries considered, T-stress constant plastic field distributions In obtained as a function dimensionless length, mixity. A method is also suggested for calculating intensity factor any I/II based on power law solutions. It further demonstrated that accounting in-plane out-of-plane constraint effect can be used characterize multiaxial variety geometries.
