摘要: As a field of social science research, policing has been fortunate to have number influential academic researchers and rich history significant writing. This is something be celebrated. The Revisiting the Classics series aims bring together leading commentators review books that contribute core police studies. There will always debate about which are seminal authors had greatest influence on discipline. We hope this initiative encourage readers rediscover value work done by previous generations.
