Modelling MAC-layer saturation throughput in WLAN mesh networks

摘要: This paper focuses on modelling the medium access control MAC layer saturation throughput in IEEE 802.11s wireless local area network WLAN mesh networks. The authors first analyse request-to-send RTS collision range and data that induced by hidden terminal problem obtain probability probability, respectively. confirm fundamental of multi-hop environments is to distinguish different backoff procedures collisions collisions. To this end, introduce concept pseudo state put forward a novel bidimensional Markov model which fully takes discrepancy these two kinds into account.
