摘要: ENDORPHINS in the pituitary gland1,2 are specifically localised intermediate and anterior lobes3,4, whereas posterior lobe contains much less opioid activity4. Recent results have indicated that β-endorphin adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) synthesised by cells from a common precursor polypeptide5–8 they both appear circulation after stressful stimulation9. It is well known an increased potassium concentration stimulates release of ACTH calcium-dependent fashion10. Similar potassium-evoked endorphins was AtT/20 which originated mouse tumours11. In addition, basal indicated, suggesting possible dual regulation endorphin secretion pituitary11. Coordinated ACTH, β-lipotropin reported12 while present study progress. This undertaken to determine whether glucocorticoid hormones, regulate also endorphins. Although it has recently been shown9 dexamethasone inhibits vivo elevation content adrenalectomy, mechanism action this synthetic remains unclear. Here, we describe data direct inhibitory role glucocorticoids synthesis cells.
