摘要: Human gaze tracking plays an important role in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. This paper presents a brief review on appearance-based tracking. Based appearance human eyes, input features can be classified into three categories according to different ways extracting eyes features, namely, complete eye image, pixel-based feature and 3D reconstruction image. The estimation process from fixation point mainly uses mapping functions. In this paper, common functions related algorithms are described detail: k-nearest neighbor (KNN), random forest (RF) regression, gaussian (GP) support vector machines (SVM) artificial neural networks (ANN). evaluates performance these using results evaluation, potential challenges summarized future directions prospected.
