摘要: Fecal Escherichia coli (n = 555) were isolated from 115 residents on 43 farrow-to-finish swine farms to determine the prevalence of antimicrobial resistance and associated risk factors. Susceptibility 21 antimicrobials was determined overall 25.8%. Pair-wise difference in prevalences individual significant between isolates that fed medicated rations compared those did not (p 0.013). Cross-resistance among same class multidrug-resistance observed. Logistic regression models revealed following factors positively with resistance: use pigs farms; number hours per week farmers spent their pig barns; handling sick pigs; intake by farm residents.
