摘要: A girl aged 3 years was struck by an automobile and admitted to hospital unconscious with a head injury right hemiparesis. Pelvic left femoral fractures were managed skin traction. Three weeks after the range of motion hip joint reduced movements painful. Radiographic examination two later revealed heterotopic bone formation around joint. Immobilisation only treatment offered. One year injury, ectopic ossification had resolved spontaneously, she able walk independently.
