摘要: What role does water play in the self-assembly of soft materials? To understand correlation between hydration state and various self-assembled structures a nonionic surfactant, terahertz time-domain spectroscopy has been performed for C12E5 solution with complementary use small-angle x-ray scattering. Precise observations show clearly that transitions are accompanied by structural phase surfactant from hexagonal to micelle lamellae. These suggest is not homogeneous solvent, interaction material important self-assembly.
