摘要: Recent studies show that, even after being banned for agricultural applications over 30 years, organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), including hexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs) and dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) its metabolites (DDXs), can still be found in various biological matrices pose a potential hazard to the fetus womb. This study aimed investigate possible transplacental transfer mechanism of OCPs using an vitro placental model. The results showed that HCHs DDXs, placenta had protection by having higher efflux than intake active transport efficiency xenobiotic out fetal circulation. No enantiomer-specific was observed chiral vitro, hints simple diffusion played major role transfer. Metabolic transporter inhibitors were applied transepithelial experiment evaluate transporting protein process. ATP production have significant inhibition on transfer, proving hypothesis participates humans. Multiple transporters contributed simultaneously OCPs. In this study, we could confirm is combination transport. ATP-binding cassette (ABC) superfamily contribute These findings improve understanding mechanisms
