摘要: Abstract The mechanisms responsible for swishing and thumping noises generated by wind turbines are unclear the existence of which have significantly affected perception energy community. To better understand nature this noise source, study, first time, investigates correlation between potential generation in farms characteristics perceived reported residents vicinity survey data. Published reports measurements show that addition to near turbines, noise, general, is far downstream turbines. Normal swish a short distance from turbine, especially cross-wind directions, can be explained convective amplification directivity trailing edge noise. As will discussed article, there exists strong evidence dominant mechanism farm associated with amplitude modulation aerodynamic eddies when turbine blade partially stalls or due an interaction wake. This hypothesis primarily based on low frequency stall also direction propagation. Moreover, it hypothesised wake supplements effect as results refraction emitted
