摘要: OBJECTIVE: The present study was undertaken to describe the clinical and prospective neuropsychological results for our group of 30 patients who were treated using a transcallosal interforniceal-transforaminal microsurgical approach. METHODS: interforniceal transcallosal-transforaminal approaches used treat with space-occupying lesions located in anterior part third ventricle. We modified approach, as described recently. underwent extensive, pre- postoperative, testing, specially designed test battery. RESULTS: Twenty-three (77%) experienced excellent outcomes (Glasgow Outcome Scale Grade V). surgical procedures this report did not themselves impair attentional function. In both early late postoperative testing sessions, deficits verbal memory only rarely observed noted be correlated procedures. most relevant individual are reported detail. CONCLUSION: approach here can successfully resection various anatomic landmarks we recently defined (for example, midline vessel on trunk corpus callosum, direct callosotomy) guide path. Furthermore, recommend use batteries scientific rehabilitative purposes.
