Susceptibility of clinical isolates of Campylobacter jejuni to twenty-five antimicrobial agents

摘要: The in-vitro activity of 25 antimicrobial agents against 113 to 161 clinical isolates Campylobacter jejuni was tested by an agar dilution method. All strains were susceptible the four aminoglycosides tested, imipenem, chloramphenicol and norfloxacin. One strain (0.6%) resistant each following antibiotics: nalidixic acid, erythromycin clindamycin. frequency tetracycline, metronidazole cotrimoxazole resistance among our 14.5%, 56.4% 96% respectively. In general, beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillins cephalosporins) showed only moderate poor C. jejuni. Of 159 89.3% produced beta-lactamases.
