摘要: Summary In the present study gross and microscopic findings due to effects of various atherogenic high-fat diets, together with chronic acute X-irradiation doses were compared in CFi male mice. The synthetic diets utilized studies, control diet (C), Thomas (D), Fillios (E), or Wilgram (F), produced severe pathological disturbances non-irradiated irradiated animals. weight liver spleen particular was decreased mice fed diets. Chronic radiation exposure either alone combination C, F, B caused marked decrease testis weights. Arterial lesions easily which similar those described by him rats. This appeared be first induction atherosclerosis using this diet. Comparison histopathological rats Fillios, Hartroft impossible because their short survival. Without modification these unsuitable for mouse experimentation. Lipid deposition within smooth muscle cells observed aorta, coronary renal arteries F. (D, F) atrophy seen calcification media coronary, pulmonary frequent severe. addition, patchy calcified necrotic areas myocardium observed. However, irradiation F degree lipid resulted less blood vessels. same increased incidence thrombosis. only X-irradiation, mild hyalinization collagen fibers aorta testicular Intimai arteries, as well focal mononuclear infiltration, necrosis myocardium. Acute loss aortic media, did not lead any sudanophilia
