摘要: A unification-based approach to visualization design provides a uniform way of representing user requirements, knowledge, and graphic designs as well algorithms for synthesizing presentations. We demonstrate this on two types requirements – structural in the form sketches functional tasks. With we aim achieve following system goals: expressiveness (the formalism can express problem its problem-solving algorithms), uniformity same be applied different generation tasks), efficiency (graphics designed reasonable amount time), extensibility extended with new elements knowledge).
