Gastric Bypass for Morbid Obesity

摘要: Gastric bypass operations have been performed on more than 500 patients at the University of Iowa for treatment morbid obesity. With this procedure, almost entire small intestine remains available absorption, and metabolic complications which described after jejuno-ileal surgery not occurred. The results with regard to weight loss are encouraging.
