摘要: The genus Sericanthe was established and its species were revised 30 years ago by one of the authors. Intensive recent botanical collecting in Lower Guinea (mainly southern Cameroon, Equatorial Gabon) has made a reconsideration this area necessary. Revision newly collected Guinean herbarium specimens (twice as many available at time first revision) brought four new to light, namely S. gabonensis S. mpassa from Gabon, S. lowryana Cameroon S. rabia Gabon. Distributional data are much augmented, distributional maps all provided.
