Misleading Results from Bone Marrows Cultured for Mycobacteria

摘要: Re-evaluation of a previous study dealing with atypical mycobacteria grown from specimens bone marrow provided strong evidence that the isolates were no clinical significance. Bone culture should not be undertaken as diagnostic test for pulmonary mycobacteriosis.
