摘要: Abstract The selection of the most suitable working fluid and cycle configuration for a given heat source is fundamental step in search optimum design Organic Rankine Cycles. In this phase efficiency recovery factor lead to opposite choices achievement maximum system and, turn, power output. work, both separate combined effects these two performance factors are considered supply thorough understanding compromise resulting performance. This goal pursued by carrying out optimizations four different ORC configurations operating with twenty-seven fluids recovering from sensible sources temperature range 120–180 °C. Optimum thermodynamic parameters those which simultaneously allow high be obtained. General guidelines suggested reach target any configuration. distance between critical inlet found play key role predicting all regardless source.
