摘要: Ethnoarchaeological studies of pottery primarily focus on the ethnographic present, often disregarding role history in production material culture. This paper integrates information from historical sources and interviews to better understand stylistic ceramic change. Beginning 1920s, undecorated pots largely replaced decorated region Evros, Greece. I argue that historically informed ethnoarchaeology provides key documenting understanding concomitant changes social context consumption distribution
