摘要: The just noticeable differences (JNDs) of room acoustics metrics are necessary for research and design performing arts venues. goal this work was to evaluate the effects different testing methods on measured JND clarity index music (C80). An initial study conducted verify findings other published works that C80 is approximately 1 dB, as currently listed in ISO 3382:2009 (International Organization Standardization, Switzerland, 2009), however, results suggested a higher value. In second study, using two variations method constant stimuli were examined, where one variation required subjects pair signals by listening each them their entirety, while approach allowed participants switch back forth real-time. More consistent obtained with latter indicated greater than 1 dB. final an extensive training period first required, based data collected variation. analysis revealed conditions used (concert hall chamber hall) 3 dB.
