摘要: Objective To estimate the heavy metal content in soil and selected medicinal plants procured from environmentally different sites of same city. Methods Soil plant samples Abutilon indicum, Calotropis procera, Euphorbia hirta, Peristrophe bycaliculata, Tinospora cordifolia were collected 3 city: traffic area (HTA), industrial (IA), residential (ra). Pb, Cd, Cr, Ni estimated by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry compared. Results The level was higher than parts studied. Accumulation metals varied to plant. Pb highest procera root hta site lowest bycaliculata whole ia site. It also lower area. Conclusion differed Thus, it reiterates our belief that every sample should be tested for contaminant load before processing further medication.
