摘要: RNA interference (RNAi) is a powerful technique for functional genomics, yet no studies have reported its successful application to zooplankton. Many zooplankton, particularly microscopic metazoans of phylum Rotifera, unique life history traits which genetic investigation has been limited. In this paper, we report the development RNAi methods rotifers, with exogenous introduction double-stranded (dsRNA) through use lipofection reagent. Transfection dsRNA heat shock protein 90, membrane-associated progesterone receptor, and mitogen-activated kinase significantly increased proportion non-reproductive females.
